The summer of 2026 marked my first time directing a full-length show. "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare is one of my favorite classical comedies. So I was so excited to work on this show as a director and one of the prop designers. And I had an incredible Producer/Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager! It was my second show with Pumphouse Players and my first as a director. I am so grateful to my cast and crew who are some of the kindest people on the planet! I loved directing this show and taking on the challenge that is Shakespeare.

On a Bench, By the Sea is a puppetry project written and directed by the amazing Tom Burch. It was developed through the Goodyear Arts 2025 Summer Residency program. This was my first project outside of college, and I loved working with and learning from artists.

Act I's production of As She Likes It was my first show with this company. I jumped in at the beginning of tech week and fell in love with the show. I had an amazing cast and crew, and I enjoyed sharing stories about Shakespeare's women characters.

In the summer of 2021, I had the opportunity to work as a full-time counselor at Camp Swamp, a Christian summer camp where I had grown up attending. While there, I was given the opportunity to write and direct a short play every week. I spent a week writing the script, creating blocking, and gathering props/sets. The next 5 weeks were spent directing different groups of campers and counselors. Staging the same play with 5 different casts was a challenge but so much fun! It was my first time directing or writing anything, and I loved it. My play was entitled “Celebrate Closeness”. I learned a lot from the experience.

In the spring of 2026, I was fortunate enough to direct one of the original short plays for Vidalia Theatre Company's "Summer Harvest 2026". Summer Harvest is an annual production of a series of original short plays. The theme for 2026 was Connection. I was able to direct S.J. Roth's short play, "The Cloud". And I had the absolute privilege of working with two incredible actors (shoutout to Geoffrey King and Phyllis Giller)! I had a blast working on this show and with everyone at Vidalia.

I was a co-translator for UNC Charlotte Spring 2025 productions of Playboy of the Western World. Glorian Hidalgo Vega and I translated this play into Spanish for the theatre department’s new captioning program.

UNC Charlotte’s Fall 2023 production of The Caligari Project. It is based on the 1920 film “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” directed by Robert Weine and written by Carl Mayer and Hans Janowitz. It was adapted and directed by the phenomenal Tom Burch. This was probably my favorite production I worked on during my time at UNC Charlotte. This show made me fall in love with puppetry! I was a puppeteer and handled Cesare and Dr. Caligari.

My Theatrical Shakespeare class in the fall of 2024 did a staged reading of Enter Nurse, or Love’s Labor’s Won. Historians believe Shakespeare wrote a sequel to Love’s Labor’s Lost entitled Love’s Labor’s Won, but the manuscript was never found. Playwright Scott Maisano penned his own sequel. I played Moon.

I began working with AIT in the fall of 2025. I perform in Murder Mystery Parties and Princess Parties. I love everyone in the ATL troupe and I love working with a company that focuses on bringing theatre to everyone.

This musical was produced at UNC Charlotte in the spring of 2024. It was my first show as an Assistant Director! With Music and Lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and Book by Heather Hach, it was no surprise we had a sold-out run. I worked with the most FANTASTIC cast and crew who all worked so hard to make this production a success.

UNC Charlotte’s 2022 Fall Dance Concert. I had the most amazing time working on the Costume Lab Crew. For this piece, I worked on the head pieces in “Iya Axé” and the skirts in “Under the Umbrellas: El Huracán”. I had no creative input, but I loved learning about the design and tech process from the incredible costume lab team!

In the Spring of 2025, I co-translated UNC Charlotte’s production of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure. I worked with Glorian Hidalgo Vega to translate the script into Spanish. This was part of the theatre department’s effort for inclusivity in the arts.

I was part of the UNC Charlotte Commedia dell’Arte Players at the 2024 Carolina Renaissance Festival. It was my first time performing at a festival, and I learned so much from the experience. Everyone at the festival was incredibly talented and supportive.

University City Stovetop Talks and Tales was a devised theatre project developed for young audiences in my Theatre Collaboration class in Spring of 2024. We were inspired by Chef Edward Lee’s book, Buttermilk Graffiti, and we partnered with the University City Regional Library. I was one of the performers. We all researched, wrote, blocked, and performed in the show.

Sense & Sensibility with Pumphouse Players was my first full play after I moved to Atlanta. My director and stage manager were fabulous, and my cast was so fun to work with! Jane Austen is my favorite author, which is part of why I am so grateful to have portrayed Elinor Dashwood.

I wrote an original short play for Camp Swamp again in 2022. I directed and produced the play for 5 weeks with different actors each week. My play, “Rethinking Love”, was a fairytale-inspired story with themes from 1 Corinthians 13. I learned a lot and failed a lot, but I had the most supportive people around me who were there to help me every step of the way. Special shoutout to my assistant directors of the summer Karissa Cox and Dexter Manigault, along with Dollar Tree for all props.
