Pippin

A steampunk-infused, circus homage to Fosse, what's not to love? Directed by Dean Adams and choreographed by Delia Neil, UNC Charlotte's production of "Pippin" was spectacular. Not only was it my first production at university, but it was my first time working tech for a show. This was my first glimpse of all the pieces it takes to put on a show. Unfortunately, I don't think I truly appreciated all our crew members do to make a show magical before this experience. But my perception of theatre has never been the same since. This show sparked my love for backstage work, and I feel blessed to have worked under the guidance of Bruce Auerbach, Rick Moll, and D.J. Cook. This show also connected me to some of my favorite people on the planet. I will always have a soft spot for Pippin.
