Celebrate Closeness

In the summer of 2021, I had the opportunity to work as a full-time counselor at Camp Swamp, a Christian summer camp where I had grown up attending. While there, I was given the opportunity to write and direct a short play every week. I spent a week writing the script, creating blocking, and gathering props/sets. The next 5 weeks were spent directing different groups of campers and counselors. Staging the same play with 5 different casts was a challenge but so much fun! It was my first time directing or writing anything, and I loved it. My play was entitled “Celebrate Closeness”. I learned a lot from the experience.
